Coach Renato Martinelli says it’s the best the school has gone since 1990.
“The fact that we haven’t conceded a goal the entire competition is testament to our great inside backs.
“The guys’ defence has been amazing.
“Jared Dickson and Justin Tull have been two of the standout performers in the back defence.”
Whitebridge High’s turning point in the competition came when they knocked out last year’s winners Hunter Sports High in round three.
On the way they also defeated Toronto High (3-0) and Cardiff High (1-0).
Coach Martinelli says the boys have been training hard, with sessions running before school at least once a week.
They will play Duval this week, with the winning team taking on either St Augustine of Brookvale, or St Pius X at Adamstown, the only other remaining Hunter region team left in the competition, in the quarter finals.
The Bill Turner Cup is one of the biggest competitions in Australia and encompasses teams from NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria.
